Join Sri Raja Rajeshwari (SRR) Peetham in a global celebration to participate in Sri Devi Khatgamala Nama – Laksha Kumkum Archana (SDK-LKA) Mahayagnam, a sacred ritual honoring Goddess Sri Lalita Tripura Sundari which is going to start on Margashira Suddha Purnima on December 14th.
For now, join us on Zoom, where a representative from the Peetham will lead the chanting of Sri Devi Khatgamala. Participants will offer kumkum puja. We’ll provide kumkum for selected locations. A simple Registration form is mandatory to add to the WhatsApp group for security purposes including Name, location, email, and phone number. Guidelines to Participate in Sri Devi Khatgamala Nama Kumkuma Archana Puja
As we prepare for this sacred Hindu ritual, we’d like to share some important guidelines to ensure that this sankalpam is successful with sanctity. Please note the following:
- 1. Ladies should tie up or braid their hair
- 2. Ladies, please wear any traditional wear like sarees or kurtas with dupattas.
- 3. Gents, please wear dhotis and uttareeyams or at least kurta pajama.
- 4. Everyone should take a bath and participate in traditional attire.
- 5. Ladies are kindly requested not to attend the event within 5 days of their monthly periods as a mark of respect for the divine energies invoked.
- 6. SRRP Members should chant the Sri Devi Khatgamala or other should use only the scripts provided by SRR Peetham. Aarti songs are exceptional.
- 7. All Participants should use a Prathima/ Sri Chakram/ Sri Meru/ Framed Pic of Lalita/Durga/any form of Devi for kumkumarchana. Only Kumkum should be used for Archana, Flowers can be offered at the end of Archana.
- 8. For every Lalita devi name, we need to take kumkum from the bowl and offer to devi. Its strictly prohibited to hold large quantity of kumkum with the fingers and offer little little to devi.
- 9. We strictly follow the process set by SRR Peetham, including puja, food, and other aspects. We kindly request your cooperation and understanding in this matter.
- Important Note: Please note that this is a time-consuming process, we kindly request your patience and understanding about timings. By following these guidelines, we’ll ensure a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for all participants. We’re looking forward to a wonderful event!!
