The right-hand-hand-trishulan, in the vamahastha-padma, the vrishabhavahini-incarnated as the shailputrina- the shailputrina, who was incarnated as the vrishabhavahini, is remembered.

The first form of Maa Durga is popularly known by the name ‘Shailaputri’. She became the daughter of the mountain king Himavanta in her house and hence the name ‘Shailaputri‘.

– Rishabhavahana- This mother, who is strong, has a trishul in her right hand and a lotus in her left hand. This incarnation is the first of the Navadurgas.

The glories and energies of ‘Shailputri’, the first incarnation of the nava-urgas, are infinite. On the first day, yogis establish their minds in the mooladhara chakra through upasana. This is when their yogic practices begin.

🌷History:

She is the daughter of Daksha Prajapati- dakshayani. Her name was Sati Devi in that birth. She is the paramesvara- the parinayamadina- the one. Once Daksha observes a mahayajna. Daksha invites the gods to receive their sacrificial parts. But Lord Shiva is not invited to the yajna. She knows that her father had intended for a great yajna, and she was excited to see the yajna. Then she conveys her desire to the Supreme Lord. After much thought, Parameswara said, “Whatever the reason, Daksha leaned on us. He invited all the gods to his yajna. He also offered to them the sacrificial parts. But we are not called by purpose— as a matter of purpose. At least the information is not disclosed. In such a situation, it is by no means good for you to go there.” This exhortation of Shankara did not reach her ears. With this yajna mission, she insists on permission, because of the strong desire to go there and see her mother and sibling. Seeing her perseverance, I will finally allow Shankara to.

When Sati reaches her father’s house, no one speaks to her or comforts her. Everyone turns their faces to the side. Only the mother embraces her with love. The words of the siblings are full of sarcasm and sarcasm. Her mind is disturbed by her own behavior. She observes that there is a sense of disinterest in everyone towards Shankara, and the father Daksha speaks to her in a derogatory manner. After experiencing all this, Sati’s heart boils with anguish, glani, and rage. She thinks, ‘Parameswara, I have made a big mistake by not following your word and i have come here and made a big mistake.’

She will not be able to bear this insult to her husband Parameshwara. Immediately she takes her form on the spot in the fire of yoga- in the fire of yoga- and when she hears of this terrible tragedy that cannot be tolerated, Lord Shiva becomes very angry. He sends his pramatha ganas and completely destroys daksha’s yajna.

Sati, in the fire of yoga, dies of her self and in the next life becomes the daughter of Himavantika, the Shailaraja. Then she becomes popularly known as ‘Shailaputri-‘. Parvati and Haimavati are also her names. Following a story of the Upanishads, she suppresses the pride of the gods in the form of Haimavati.

In her ‘Shailapu-gri’ avatar, she is paramesvarana-ne parinayamaduta- In this incarnation, like in previous lives, it becomes ‘ardhangi’ to Shankara.

On the first day of na-ratri festivals, pujas and fasts are performed for the goddess.
