Sri Shyamala Navaratri, also known as Gupta Navaratri or Ashadha Navaratri, is a nine-night festival dedicated to the worship of the goddess Shyamala (another form of Goddess Saraswati or Goddess Lalita). It is observed primarily in the month of Ashadha (June-July) and is celebrated with great fervor in certain parts of India, especially in South India and by specific spiritual communities. SRRP has performed the Chandi homam as part of Shyamala Navaratri.
