🌷 Mahima – History 🌷

Siddhidatri, the ninth form of energy, gives all siddhas. Legend has it that goddess Parvati attained the half-body part of Parameswara due to her compassion. If you pray to her, you will get the amrita path which is blissful.

‘Siddhidatri’ is the name of the ninth shakti swaroopa of Maa Durga. She gives all kinds of siddhas. In the Markandeya Purana, the Siddhas are mentioned in eight types: 1) Anima, 2) Mahima, 3) Garima, 4) Laghima, 5) Prapti, 6) Prakamya, 7) Ishita, and 8) Vasitva. In the Brahmavaivarta Purana, the Siddhas are defined as ashtadasa types in the birth continent of Sri Krishna. Those…

Mother Siddhidatri can bestow all these siddhas on the devotees and seekers. The Devi Purana states that Parameswara obtained all these siddhas by the grace of the Goddess. This Siddhidatri Mata was kind to Lord Shiva and became half of his body. Therefore, he became ardhanarishvara. Siddhidatri Devi chaturbhuja. Simhavahana. The form of this goddess is seated on the lotus. She holds a wheel in one hand to the right. The other hand is wearing a mace. On the left hand, there is a conch shell in one hand and a lotus in the other.

She is the form of the Goddess who is worshipped on the ninth day of the Navratri mahotsava. On the ninth day, all the siddhas become karatalamalakam for those who worship her with complete devotion with scientific procedures. There is nothing impossible for her in creation. With the grace of this Mother, the upasaka is capable of conquering this universe.

Every person must constantly strive to be worthy of the grace of this Siddhidatri Mata. Under the influence of this mother’s kindness, he can be detached from the infinite form of sorrow. He not only attains all pleasures but also attains moksha.

The ‘Siddhidatri’ avatar was the last of the Navadurgas. In the first eight days, the eight avatars of Goddess Durga should be worshipped with devotion and on the ninth day the upasaka should be engaged in this Siddhidatri worship. As soon as the worship of this goddess is over, all the worldly and transcendental mental rites of the devotees and seekers will be fulfilled. The devotee, who is worthy of the grace of Mother Siddhidatri, will have no desires left. Such a devotee transcends all forms of social desires, needs, and interests. He mentally wanders in the divine world of Goddess Bhagwati. The goddess is constantly enjoying the kruparasamrita and becomes averse to the pleasures of the subject. For such people, the presence of Goddess Bhagwati is everything. As soon as he receives this Supreme Word, he does not need any other worldly objects at all.

It is our duty to constantly worship Maa Durga with rules and regulations in order to reach her presence. We are taught that this samsara is shallow because of the influence of the remembrance of Goddess Bhagwati and the dhyana pujas. Tanmahattvana is the path of the true blissful amrita path that we get.
