Sri Lalita Sahasramam (SLS) is an important Shakti Hymn with 1000 names of Devi, given to sage Agastya by Lord Hayagriva (a form of Vishnu with a horse head). A true recitation consists of selfless devotion to the Divine Mother, which gives the benefit of taking 1 crore baths in the holy river Ganga, establishing 1 crore Shivalingas, feeding 1 crore Brahmins, and teaching 1 crore students. It vanishes all diseases and gives a long life if recited on Full Moon Day.
SRR Peetham is offering the classes to the students to recite the SLS with Vedic rules applied and with minimal mistakes. The learning process involves 10-12 slokas per class and helps students to chant and understand the meaning of every name of Lalitha Devi in Sahasranama, which takes a minimum of 3 months for teaching and a month for practice to get the fluency. SRR Peetham provides mentor support to help each student who wishes to recite SLS with full devotion and without mistakes.
