Significance of Ashada Navaratri
In Vedic astrology, the month of Ashada is considered to be propitious to worship Goddess Varahi – a boar-faced deity. This godde ss is described as fierce yet affectionate towards her devotees. People pray to Goddess Varahi to get rid of the negative energies and put an end to enemy actions.
It is mentioned in Brahmananda Purana that by worshipping Goddess Varahi by performing Homam, chanting powerful Varahi mantras, and fasting during Ashada Navratri, one can see huge benefits coming their way.
