Before joining SRRP, I carried within me a quiet uncertainty — a hesitation that coloured the way I approached myself and the world around me. But from the moment I stepped into this community, something began to shift. Not all at once, but steadily, the way light slowly fills a room at dawn.
Guru Garu’s love for his students is not something spoken about — it is something felt. In every interaction, every word of guidance, every moment he pauses to truly see a student, there is a warmth that disarms every wall you’ve built around yourself. He does not teach from a distance. He walks alongside you.
My confidence did not arrive in a single revelation. It grew in small moments — a gentle nudge here, an encouraging word there, a challenge extended just as I was ready to rise to meet it. Guru Garu seemed to understand the rhythm of each student’s growth, meeting us exactly where we were and patiently holding space for who we were becoming.
What struck me deeply was how he sees every student — not the few, not the favoured, but each individual who comes seeking something more. His attention never feels divided. Whether in person or through online platforms, he creates opportunities for students to volunteer, to serve, to contribute — and in doing so, to discover their own strength and purpose.
