Navaratri Utsav

Navaratri is a Hindu festival that spans nine nights (and ten days) and the tenth day of Navaratri is called as Vijayadashami and is celebrated every year in the autumn. Theoretically, there are four seasonal Navaratri's, however, in practice, it is the post-monsoon autumn festival called Sharada or Sharan Navaratri that is the most observed in the honor of the divine feminine Durga Devi. The festival is celebrated in the bright half of the Hindu calendar month Ashweeja, which typically falls in the months of September and October.
